Apostolic Project

The charism of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin is a  gift from the Spirit to the founder, Jean Harper, and passed on to the members, from generation to generation.

In fidelity to his apostolic project :

«With Mary Our Lady of the Assumption, who is recognized as model of evangelic life, we want to stake all on God, by placing our faith in his unfailing providence, in order to reveal the Father's love, to the men and women of our time». (Constitutions, art. 5)

The Congregation of the Sisters of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin strives to serve the needs of the Church and world community through:

• Teaching 
•  Faith Formation
•  Promotion of arts

 The grace of the origins allows the religious to always be available for apostolic projects adapted to the culture and the times. Thus, she participates in the development of the human community and the sharing of faith according to the particular spirituality of the Congregation.
